engine/timing belt

hit the car yesterday and pushed the front end back. The front panel has pushed the rad back and the fan has gone through the timing belt casing. Although the belt is still on the cogs, its wedged behind one of the routing spindles(i know its not a technical term)like so:

is there anything i can do to sort it? Alternatively, is one of these spindles spring loaded to adjust the tension?

Hi mate one of thems a hydraulic cambelt tensioner though theres a couple of idler pulleys its a bit ropey doin it yaself mate as its so easy to get belt/timing out if ya not sure what ya doing if ya loosen it off an then tension it bk up can sometimes well with previous cars not 100% on scoobys end up with slack in the wrong place tension it up an pull the timing out.If youre confident have a go otherwise i`d get rest of the car sorted(urself maybe then get it to a garage for them to look at,at least you`d have some sort of come bk if it goes pear shaped.)Not only that will need a new belt anyway because of the damage to it-(well i`d get it changed anyway)

you need to strip the front covers and offending opulley off the engine to furthera ssess what damage you have done.................
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO START THE CAR!!

you may well have done valve damage dependant on wether the engine stopped instantly or continued to try and run after the damage??
