Question Faulty Autobox - Torque Converter

Hi guys and galls,

I've heard on the grapevine that there is an auto scooby knocking around by me for sale that needs a new torque converter.

I've looked via the search tool and can't find a thread entry covering it.

Q1) Can a new TC be sought

Q2) Who from

Q3) estimate of cost

Q4) anybody done one, how difficult

Q5) or would it be better to get the whole box refurbed?

TIA

Okay, just phoned, looks like a no go, bloke said it would be a struggle to get an auto box, so best option would be to swap to manual.
