Larger TMIC...

Have just purchased a after-market top mount intercooler,I was wondering as its a larger one than the stock one fitted, would it still fit into the same area,or will it stick up slightly so my bonnet doesn't go down right??
Or is a bigger scoop in order??

If it is made as an upgrade for your spec scooby it should be a straight forward swap and come with any modified brackets pipes etc if required.

However if you have just bought a larger FMIC not specific for your car then it will be trial and error..........

I can only say my opinion, but a top mount if uprating the engine a fair amount is useless because the air flow just doesnt go in to cool the intercooler..

Front mount for me is the way and will be the way forward
