Clutch repairs

Hi all,

Can anyone recommend somewhere in the North East that can replace the clutch on a MY97 UK Turbo?

It's started to slip over the last few weeks (in the same way as in the thread started by GHBNIC) and i want to get it sorted before it does any flywheel damage. I'm not looking to go mad with performance bits as its pretty much a bog standard machine.

Any ideas peeps?

tom

if its just a case of dropping the gearbox and changing the clutch i can't see it being an issue, should only be a day i should think.

have a look at the web site and give em a ring and have a chat. www.scoobyclinic.com

just had a quick look at the site and they look to be good value so i'll give em a buzz.

i took it to a local bloke for a price to do the job and he reckoned that they're more hassle than they're worth and wouldnt touch it. i cant see why, it's just an inline box!!

Ha ha Scoobyclinic done my clutch in an hour...It was all free so guess they all mucked in. But they do usually do a clutch in under half a day.

biggest issue is dropping gearbox, if its stuck can be a balls ache, if not can be out clutch change and back in in about two hours, just depends on how easy it is to do, get number from web site, and give them a bell have a chat with Adam, he'll sort you out or just give you some good advice

You could try AS Performance, about 10 miles from Durham, ask for Alyn. Thats about 40-50 miles from you.
