you'll tend to find your oil pressure will fluctuate slighty anyway, hot days you'll find oil pressure will be slightly lower due to oil being thinner, you'll prob find your oil temp is pretty high at the min cos of the air temp.
also possible the gauge/sender is playing up, best bet ge a mechanic to look at it just to be sure and diagnose the problem, sooner rather than later is best.

yeah its an electric 1 is it possible the sender has gone duff ,Ive been reading through some forums and I'm abut worried now that its big end bearing problems I'm going to try changing the gauge sender witch is in a sandwich plate between the filter so i will do an oil and filter change at the same time then i can check for metal bits in the filter,

If it was a rapid fluctuation of the gauge the most likely cause is the sender.

had a similar problem before the car went to garage.

oil pressure would drop when driving to about 60psi, usually about 90psi on load. Stopped at traffic lights and pressure dropped off the gauge, turned engine off and restarted, oil pressure ok.

Did this a couple of times, would think it is down to the oil needing changing and the leak on the oil pipe.

Was very hot when this happened.
