somebody help the yankee...

i have question. i recently purchased a 06 inmperza sedan. sorry no turbo. but i noticed that my tires are peeling out when i take off over the 3000 rpm range. tires also screech when i make take a corner above 3000 rpm. my question is is this normal for the awd, or should i talk to the dealer?
thanks for the help, i really love my subaru and want to ensure that everything is fuctioning correctly....

If i pull off at 3000 rpm, the car just goes, jumps a little with the torque if i pop the clutch too quick!

Never had any problems with the corners, have taken them at 5000 rpm+ and never any pulling, tyre screeching???

What kind of tyres u got mate?

Thats what i had when i bought my impreza, good tyres... i have changed to Toyo Proxes T1-R's

Would say they both perform about the same, never have any problem with grip, Toyo's are maybe slightly better in the wet.

to much right pedal, or is it left in america? lol

depending on tyres you may get noise if you push hard, also might depend on how the tracking on the car has been set up

ummm, alignment is a very specialist thing, lazers tend to be used to line them correctly, so unless you wanna splash out for the kit (which will be $$$$$$$$) then you'll have to take it somewhere. try asking around the area/friends you'll propb get some places recomended.

set up wise is a difficult one, set ups set one way or another aka good for corners good for straight etc, tend to cause different effects. also what you've got adjustable depends what you've got done to your car.
standard wise all you'll be able to do is toe in toe out, toe in will make the car corner better but srcubb the outside edge of the tyre and kill it very very quickly, toe out will make it more stable in straight line (to an extent, to much and it destroy the handeling) after that you have to change bits on the car to be able to adjust the settings eg camber.

not realy a subject i'm up on but just depends on what you want to use the car for. best bet might be to try a few different set ups and see what you like
