Where do I go from here ?

I'm confused on where to go next with mods for best increase of BHP, I have a 99 uk with the following mods : Standard internals and turbo, walbro fuel pump, sard pressure reg, profec b boost controller, decat and custom straight through exhaust.
The thing is everyone seems to suggest different things ; sti tmic, fmic, upgrade turbo etc.. The boost is running at 1.15 bar and I'm told its at its max limit but the truth is I just dont know. I only have the car 3 months so its all new to me so far.
Any help or advice would be appreciated...

To get any more a remap is really required.. I would go Turbo TD05/6 18g, 550 injectors.. then remap.

As pete says - you would notice a nice increase if remapped now

my my00 peaks at about 1.5 on the defis, which read slightly high, so you will se 1.25 easy after a remap even on the standard td04 turbo

i would recommend the top mount STi intercooler. Plus getting a better quality hose going from the turbo to the intercooler. I done this and notice the car was more responsive. Had to tilt the intercooler up a little though as the pipe was slightly larger. I think this is one of the things Prodrive do for the PPP.

I would go with the above with regards a Remap. However it really depends on what you want from the car......

The TD04 was always known to cope with about 290BHP before it starts running out of puff so Bobs idea of a new Tub and injectors would be worthwhile and a remap after this would see some healthy power I would imagine.

As for fuel cuts - these are not good mate and really should be avoided at all costs. Whilst the ECU cuts the fuel to the car the shockwave that is sent through the car at the time can be damaging if it happens to many times.
