boost problem

hi every one i own a my99 2000 turbo power flow system from cat back hks bov trust air filter can anyone tell me if this is right im only getting 8psi boost
i read that most people boost about 0.9bar thats about 13psi . could any one put some light on my probs cheers work done already new maf. knock sensor cleaded boost solenoid and pipe work checked all ok no cel codes ecu has been reset im stumped help please

Are the boost pipes to the solenoid on the correct way round ???

this has been known to cause low boost.....

yes i think so as thay are shaped in the right direction the car did have a abc superchip connected to the ecu when i got it but it was not working so was taken off maybe the pipe work has been played about with as i think thay used a bleed valve does any one have a pic or diagram as to which way thay should be cheers scotte

i think what i will do is post some pics of the boost pipes and may be you could tell me if thay are right way around cheers

maybe this is the cause of the problem... Who removed it and have you only had the problem since it was removed

i removed the chip but the bleed valve had already been removed when the engine was rebuilt the chip was very easy to remove only 4 wires i had a search on this site and looked at some pics of the boost pipe work all seams to be ok i think i will have a look at the wastedgate weekend if i get the chance. and report back cheers

ok weekend went out armed with tools and cups of tea i put on my man boost controller on the scoob of my gt4 . when for a run and made 15psi but as soon as i hit 15psi it drops of to 10psi every gear i think it must be the wastegate what do you lot think???? it not fuel cut as it hit 15psi then drops next gear same again
