I need to replace my rear tyres (currently 215/45-17 Bridgestones). Is it ok to fit 225/45-17 instead? I am going to get Toyo T1-R's. Any thoughts?

Toyo's are the mutts nuts, as for size you should stick to what was specified for a 17" wheel.
All the best

T1R,s a good choice still waiting to see if they as long lived as goodyear eagles F1 which is another good choice.

Experiminted a bit with Eagles on front and TIR,s on back, very grippy and with Prodrive Geometry made the eagles feel lighter in steering. Thought the stickier compound of the toyos on rear would match the harder wearing eagles on the front.
