oil

what would be the best oil for
engine
gearbox
difs
i have no idea on which to buy as i havent owned a scoob before
and im finding it hard to find a manual ie haynes

No haynes manaul I'm afraid.
You can get a download of the subaru manual. Have a look on somewhere like WinMX or eMule...... worked for me :wink:

For the gearbox and diffs Syntrax seems to be the oil to go for.

Engine Oil a good quality Synthetic like Motul 300v, Silkolene Pro S
I use Silkolene Pro S
You can get it at a good price from Opie oils

my gearbox used to crunch second till i changed oil to syntrax. now its like new

these guys on here will keep you right :wink: i cannot comend them enough, i was running my scoob with wrong plugs, oil, gbox oil , filters (use genuine subaru or better oil filters , 5 from subaru)
