Advice / opinions please

Hi All
As you know I have a PPP'd UK300.
Now I really want to De-Cat both Up and Down pipe and even maybe new headers and a Cold Air intake.

Can this be done with PPP in place.......... as PPP can not be remapped, I am told....

you can do all this m8e the PPP kit has a high flow cat wich you'll be removing. as for remapping, i couldnt tell you if your PPP ecu can be done or not. i dont see why not. i'll investigate.

however, getting hold of a standard UK ecu is easily done. stick that in m8e, remap it and you'll have a PPP ecu and high flow cat to sell on

the hayward and scott exhaust systems are superb!

same here peter , i've always bin told you cant re-map the ppp ecu a guy from a subaru dealer told me that because i was going to de-cat the sti8 i used to have .........
As for the rest mate i'd do it , in fact i am it's booked in for the 26th of this month , but one thing i'd deffinatly NOT be doing is touching the induction side of it .....
Iwas told by my mapper ( pavlo ) not to bother just get a good panel filter unless your running daft bhp ...............

when i do my 'Special Scoobys' induction kit - we fit a genuine STi panel filter (keeping the original air box) and our hand made cold air induction pipe. This keeps the MAF safe from the usual damage caused by induction kits and allows the greater air flow required.
