If you can afford it go for TEIN FLEX with EDFC.

You can have upto 16 manual settings and I think 4 settings in the memory
i.e Comfort, Road, Fast Road & Track

Some places are doing deals, list is about 1300 + EDFC 350 but most places are doing the completed package for 1200 to 1300

Have a look in the Deals section and give them a call to see what they can do for you...
Don't get if you don't ask

You might want to as Litchfields for their 12 way adjustable set. It's a mechanical adjustment and I don't think it will be that expensive.
I tried them last week on their Spec C type 20.

They also specialise in Imports.

Tell us how you're getting on. 8)

cheers i thought that the tein woud probably be the best and i guess if i'm going to do it might as well do it properly especially if i can get a new electronic gizmo for the inside... can never have enough toys... or should i go for a cheaper set and have a bit of change for a carbon fibre bonnet..... decisions, decisions i'll hace a look into that other make before i decide thank for the help

With a bit extra you get a 2003 WRX or STi even ! Might be worth considering. The prices hit rock bottom.

I'd go Tein everytime... 8)

I got Bilsteins PSS9's on ours (they were fitted a while ago!!!). In my opinion they are too hard for the road (even on the softest setting). Sh!t hot on the track though... 8)

I've just had the TEIN Superstreet kit fitted to mine recently. Awesome, great value for money and great response from car compared to OEM setup.
