Anyone fitted one to a new age scoob?
Just wondering how they got around the engine check light that comes on after the cat is removed. Cant really afford a DP with a sports cat

i've heard that a sports cat can cause the same thing happening anyway, although this was said to me by a subaru main dealer who would probably prefer me to get a PPP than for me to get other bits n bobs done of my own accord. he also said that it could eventually cause faults with the ecu. he also said after i asked where to get an ecu TEK remap from that ' i've had many cars come to me with lots of problems after having them installed'.

would also like to know if you can get around this decating problem.

I was told that you can get rid of it by having it mapped out when having a remap done

Just done a bit of research and apparently you can get a CEL fix which is a box which fools the sensor into thinking the cat is still in place.

If you speak to TSL, Scoobyclinic or someone like that they should know where you can get hold of one.

HTH

Not at the mo Ash. Was just thinking about upgrading bit by bit.

But I suppose it begs the question, Does the removal of all cats and a remap get you through an MOT?

No mate, I think even after a remap you'll need a cat in place to pass an MOT.
Unless you find an MOT friendly garage that dont mind a full decat
