Oil change question

Hello all,

This is my first post:

I have recently purchased an Impreza 555 (year 2000) here in holland, which has been modified with the following:

forged pistons + ACL .
TD05 Turbo.
Waldro Fuel pump.

The car is due for an oil change - after research i found out Millers 10w- 40 is probably the best option - now I am not going to do the oil change myself however I have read some stories that Big end failure is not uncommon after an oil change.
So I would like to be safe and inform them of any procedure:

I have found out to fill the oil filter with oil first which is fairly common anyway.

anything Else ? camshaft sensor removal I have seen? then crank the engine?

If someone could help me out that would be great as I do not want this vehicle to go bang anytime soon.
