Replacing back brake hose ( classic)

Alright troops. I need to replace the back brake pipe from caliper to bleeding nipple on main hose on my classic but have no idea how its done. I know a few of you guys will point me in the right direction. Even images would be brill.

Re: Replacing back brake hose ( classic)

get the wheel off the day before and give the joint at the car a good clean up with a wire brush and coat with penetrating oil, a few days before if you have time,
and then buy a proper brake line spanner, dont "try" a normal 10mm first,
this will give you the best chance of undoing the connector without twisting the end off the brake pipe.

How do i get the rest of the hose off tho, do i remove the bracket that holds it at the top of the hose ?

if your asking those type of questions Im not sure you should really be fiddling with the cars brakes,
the actual mechanical side is simple, do you know how to bleed the brakes after you have done the work ?

Yeah i do, my dad was a mechanic all his life untill he died and ive done lots of car brakes, just never done a scooby hose thats all m8
