## H E L P N E E D E D ##

Hi everyone,ive just spent almost 2 hours trying to remove the coil pack from the rear nearside plug to change the spark plugs (baterry side) ive done this before on an my 2003 wrx,but now on my 2006 hawkeye sti,its seems impossible,ive changed the other 3 plugs with almost ease,but this last one is a b#####d,before i call it a day,i just wondered if someone out there had a tip to get it off,cheers in advance

battery and washer fluid bottle out, but as you have done them before you probably know that,
have u put a trolley jack under and lifted the engine a little to give a bit more room ?

thanks for that,will lifting the engine slightly,give a little extra room to wiggle the coil pack out? looks like i will invest/borrow a trolly jack to complete the job,as ive still only changed 3 plugs,cheers bud

Ive never had to, but its something I saw mentioned else where so it may help.

just to let everyone know,that i finally managed to remove that last coil pack and change the the 4th plug.lifting the engine slightly on a trolley jack helped give me that little extra clearance,plus if you disconect the coil from the wire connection and spin the coil pack round 180 degrees this also helps getting it out.( i can now start growing my knuckles back) thanks bugeye bob for the advice
