newage exhaust question.

Could any one tell me if a hawkeye downpipe is the same fitment as a classic.

The reason being I have the chance of getting a very nice sounding hawkeye turbo back system but i'm not sure if would fit my classic sti.

The downpipe has a bung in the top of the pipe for the o2 sensor but the hawk sensor is fitted under the car in the bottom of the pipe which makes me think the front pipe at least may be universal.

Any info would be a big help.

Re: newage exhaust question.

if its off a car with single scroll turbo then the exhausts should fit from any year, as long as your using the whole lot as mentioned, turbo to back,
If its from a car with twin scroll turbo then it isnt a swap, the sump is different for one.

Re: newage exhaust question.

I have no idea if it was a twin scroll or not. It came off a MY06 WRX if that helps

Is there some obvious difference in the down pipe to turbo flange that would tell me what turbo it was.

Worst case i will have to try it but if there is way of telling without taking my exhaust that would be better.
