Exclamation Hks vs Greddy electronic boost controller

Hi to all,
I asked my mate at his garage about tuning, like turbo's etc, and he said that to notice a major improvement get an electronic boost controller. He has had experiance with boost controller as owning an Nissan Silvia with 700hp.
I am a bit confused about what they were and what they do. He said that he was breaking a few cars (supras, etc) and had found some EBC's, the best of the two were the HKS and Greddy.

Does anyone know which of the two are the best and why? It would be most appreciated.

Many thanks,

No need for it in a scoob, the existing boost control works very well

boost controller is advisable on ECUTEK mapping on oem solanoid, can occasionally spike like hell in cold weather!!...unless fitted with a 3 port solaniod...or if your going aftermarket ecu simtec,solaris,etc..you shouldn't have any issues..

personally i run a blitz unit
Mapped by Enginetuner(Plymouth)..

my advice dont let him anywhere near your car, he should know that what works on one car doesn;t work with others and additional boost control over the ecu (standard or aftermarket) isn;t needed on a scoob.
