Question Lift Kits

im trying to raise my car 30mm at least, but need to know if a standard set of shocks with extended springs will do the job or just top out the shocks. And if anyone knows of a decent set up for it or companys that can help!

Re: Lift Kits

Is your car lowered or are you trying to raise it from standard ride height?

Re: Lift Kits

I can't understand why you would want to do this. It won't help handling at all!

Re: Lift Kits

It's going into a gravel/loose rally project so need to pop her up to gain more clearance for the mud tyres and obviously the bigger impacts!

Re: Lift Kits

when lifting you may start to get drive shaft/CV joint issues like if you lower a car too much,
worth planning into your build.

Re: Lift Kits

Cheers mate, most of the lowering kits drop by about 30-40mm is it more aggressive going upwards, would you have any ideas on upgrades to the d shafts while going for the uplift? Also any idea on shocks? All I can find are lowering kits or hugely expensive wrc shocks and springs! I can't be the only person looking for lift!
