Clutch problem

Hi all, i feel that it's time to replace the clutch and flywheel of my MY03 WRX. I want to replace it with exedy stage 1 clutch and flywheel kit but i have some questions I would be quite happy if you can help me with them

1. I heard that the oem clutch of MY03 STI is exedy but is it stage 1? If yes, should i just go and buy the oem STI clutch and flywheel? Does it fit to WRX?

2. I searched the net and found exedy stage 1 clutch and flywheel kits both for WRX and STI. The prices are similar so should i have to buy the WRX or does STI stage 1 also fits my WRX?

I'm realy confused

Re: Clutch problem

most O/E clutches on scoobs are excedy..STi clutches differ from the WRX due to having a 6speed box, iirc the splines are different, stick with any stated spec for a WRX
