Fuel and RPM

Please help does anyone know what compression test figures for each cylinder should be for a 2008 wrxsti impreza. And the other question is if on mornings on startup first for the day have blue exhaust smoke for about 2 sec is this an indication of an internal problem? the car has 10005 km. The things is i change the from a stock fuel pump to AVO 245lph pump from since then i can't get above 5500 rpm and this problem with the blue smoke on mornings

Blue smoke is oil burning.

Re: Fuel and RPM

Change back the pump as not doing your car any good and see if problem still their if so heres links on the compression figures dont have the exact figures for the 08 sti but you wont be long seeing a problem when you do the compression test all 4 cylinders should be very even with a difference of round 7 psi max on each cylinder but if you see somthing crazy of 20-30psi of a difference between the cylinders you have a problem. Hope all is well with it

Re: Fuel and RPM

Thanks guys for your help. The sad news that three of the four pistons read 50psi and number one read 150. So i have no other choice but to get another engine. I going for the Cosworth long block with India headers and cosworth front mounted intercooler also Blouch dom 5.0 xt turbo. I may as well just increase my performance once and for all as the project progress i will send photo and keep you guys inform. If the block is any good i will sell. Thanks again
