antifreeze

anyone know what antifreeze to use on my 1997 sport,ive heard that with the engine being aluminium i need a special type,can i get it at halfords,cheers

Castrol do a mono ethylene glycol coolant - is this ok Pete?

It's a car antifreeze with ethylene glycol. I would say "yes"

thanks for the help,i got some from halfords ,it says on the bottle its for pre 98 cars,plus it has eythylene glycol and it says it can be used in aluminium engines,still on the subject of antifreeze the post 98 anti had summat called oat (organic acid technology)i think,could i have used that
