Re: Coilovers

my first question why coilovers?

a decent set of adjustable shocks and lowering springs may be a much better idea

Re: Coilovers

Agree with why coilovers...had some fitted on my 96' wrx which now kinda of regret! Great if you wanna play around with the adjusters and so on but terrible on most roads for normal driving! lol

Re: Coilovers

the idea of coilovers is they are fully adjustable, height, bounce, damp etc etc allows you to alter the setup on the geometry alot more than normal shocks and springs.

They are mainly used on track to get the best setup for that track, however people assume there better so get them for use on the road where there a bit pointless, they get set to one setting and then always end up staying at that.

Re: Coilovers

Agree and disagree, Coilovers arnt really needed on the road agreed, But runnning BC Racing coilovers on the softest setting gives you roughly the ride of a std STI suspension setup. And again you can set the ridehight as you want, always options later then if you decide on a track day or two
