Unhappy WINDSCREEN WASHER BOTTLE TROUBLE

Hi, this might be me being an idiot but i just got my second scooby and went to fill up the windscreen wash today which was followed by some steam!! I looked at the bottom of the washer bottle and there is a small pipe that is connected but theres a largeer rubber pipe coming from one of the motors that isnt connected to anything which is where the screenwash was leaking from, now i might be being an idiot here but where should it connect to, ive had the washer bottle out today and cant see anywhere that it would connect to any info would be greatly appreciated, and again i apologise if im being a dunce.
cheers
Rob

Mine has two pumps in the washer bottle, when one packed up i just swapped the pipes over to save getting a new pump! lol the other one was blocked off like u say with a rubber tube and a bung in the end. think its for head light wash but only on certain models.

Re: WINDSCREEN WASHER BOTTLE TROUBLE

ok, cheers steve, i think my pump might have packed in too cause when i pull the stalk forward theres no noise so might need a new pump. what did you block the end of the pipe off with? would silicone sealant be ok?

Be sure yours hasn't got the button on the end of the stalk to operate the washers, caught me and many others out! lol The pipe was blocked with a small bolt and silicone
