CAN PREMIUM BE MIXED WITH OPTIMAX? TIMES ARE HARD!

Just a quick question,

Times are hard, and petrol prices are getting harder!

As premium unleaded is not too expensive at the momnet, can it be mixed with optiomax?

I know the turbo would not work very well but would it damage the engine?

I probabley wont do it (unless i lost my job in the nr future) but putting 40 + in my car just to get to work doesnt seem econmiacally viable anymore. cheapest optimax nr me is 93.9p ltr, and the garage is about 12 miles away (requires specail journey)

Standard UK Scoobs will run on Normal Unleaded - but for obvious reasons run better on Super Unleaded. If you car isn't in a high state of tune and or if you are not driving it too hard then I NUL shouldn't do your car any harm at all.....you might find a slight loss of performance though on the lower ocatane fuel

Well with PPP they do recommend that you drive the car on SUL (super Unleaded). The Prodrive ECU can adjust for NUL but the PPP brouchure does state that you shouldn't drive on too many tanks of NUL. The performance will be affected too. So if you can at least put SUL in the tank if Optimax is a bit pricey where you are
