Howdy boys & girls , i've just had a manual boost controller fitted , every thing id fine follring it through 1st,2nd,3rd but at 4.5000rpm in 4th i aget a violent power loss then it picks up agin and 5th is fine , is this 'FUEL CUT?' i havn't fitted my boost gauge yet so i am not sure what its peeking at?.If i dirve it smoothly through 4th there is no problem though . Any ideas? ops:

Yep that sounds like Fuel Cut to me Not good - try not to let it happen to many times......as it can damage your engine

I think you need to wind the Boost Controller back out a bit (back off the boost) and that should allow you to use WOT in 4th without any problems. FC is likened to hitting a brick wall - you are hard on the gas and then suddenly it hits!

Remember flooring the throttle in 1/2/3 gears won't generally allow you to hit Peak Boost - 4th and 5th However will be - 4th is the best gear for checking your boost.
