done 2 mate theyre not that bad so long as the turbo nuts/bolts come out ok,theres a few fiddly heatshield nuts but generally theyre not too bad (did both these with aid of 2post lift tho) tho another 2 mates have done theirs out on the street with no probs.First off remove intercooler and heatshields around existing downpipe neck not sure about wrx`s but the only one i put bk on was the one over the top of the turbo, though the hole where the downpipe goes through will need cutting quite a bit wider(if same as uk cars)for new downpipe, think on the wrx`s theres a fire sensor for the cat lower down on the std downpipe-mate left this connected but tied up on the inner wing, lambda sensor fits in normal place as i recall.just a support bracket then half way down downpipe to undo and nuts/bolts at either end.

thanks ukdave

cheers mate, just as you said , bolts needed a bit of heat to free them off but all went smoothly , throttle response and spooling is much improved.
cheers .
