Changeing brake pads, is it hard?

Hi Guys,
Brake pads where low (noticed while i was painting the calipers)

i done alsorts of things with my car but never changed the pads, with past experiance of old cars, I always had prbs.

Is it a difficult thing to do? is there a step by step guide anywhere?

STOP laughing, its not funny!, most peopel say its really easy. my last car the piston was seized and had to call someone out to do it.

Cheers P.

Never had a problem. I get my son to do them (he's a machanic)

Seriously though they are easy, well on a bug eye 4pot they are

Wheel off
Take out sprung clip on top
Remove rear securing sprung pin that goes through the pad pins
Remove pad pins
Carefully leaver back pads checking brake master cylinder level
Remove pads
clean area
Fit new pads (dont forget to refit any shims and add copper slip sparingly)
Refit pins clips etc
refit wheel
Pump pedal
Check levels
Test brakes
