SAFETY RECALL ! ! ! ! ! 2003 STI

I recieved a letter this afternoon from SUBARU regarding a safety recall

" AS PART OF SUBARU'S VEHICLE MONITORING PROCESS,WE HAVE IDENTIFIED A CONCERN WITH THE OIL FLOW CONTROL VALVE COVER BOLTS ON CERTAIN WRX MODELS "


Now fortunatly for me it concerns my old car 03 plate sti , i just woundered if anybody
else had recieved a letter .......... 8) 8)

i hadnt but good of you to post up Mr freeze :wink:

Maybe some people have moved and forgot to change their address resulting in the letter not getting through ops: :wink:

Who me never not my problem anyway phoned up the dealer that bought mine & they said " can you post forward to us pls "
I ask you wft it should be up to them & surely they should know already ............

Saying that - i thought the warrenty were seriously strict with that... if addy wasnt changed by the new owner within 30 days the warrenty gets scraped :? :?:

Thanks for posting !

Didn't hear anything. Will contact my dealer.

They should do a safety recall once on these brakes glazing up when driving in the wet ! :evil:

I got one of these too yesterday and it applies to my MY02 STi !!!!!!
