Buying an Impreza

Hello I am looking to buy an Impreza but having never owned one can anyone tell me what problems and pitfalls to look for I am currently considering an 05 WRX and an 03 GX. Many thanks in anticipation of your help.

Re: Buying an Impreza

Welcome firstly

not really anything to worry about, full history is a real bonus, apart from that, there's not really alot to worry about, unless you've got a heavy right foot ,that won't be such a problem if you go for the GX version..

Re: Buying an Impreza

I know on a lot of newage Impreza's, rear shocks knocking seems to be a common problem. So if you take one out for a test drive just listen out for that

Apart from that, if it has a full service history, should be fine (AFAIK)
