Which Subaru To Buy?

Hello everyone,

I'm completely new to this forum and new to the world of Subaru's.

I am looking to buy a Subaru within the next month, so I'm trying to gather as much info as I can about which one to/not to buy. My budget is about 3,000.

Can you please give all the info I should know about, i.e. common problems etc.

Any help much appreciated.

Re: Which Subaru To Buy?

Welcome to the site. For 3k you should be able to pick up a tidy Classic UK Turbo. Here's a checklist which will help when viewing - Subaru Impreza - Buying Checklist Try and find one with a full/good service history. Servicing, road tax, insurance can all be expensive so I'd look into those before buying too. Cost of running can be high ie. fuel depending on how you drive. Watch out for badly modified ones and if they have been tuned/re-mapped check for dyno print outs, receipts etc. Reading that back sounds bad but hell you'll never have so much fun in a car. Good luck with your search and I'm sure other members will be along to point you in the right direction
