Which tyre??

Hi all, i couldn't decide which tyre to buy for my 2003 WRX. I'm stuck between Pirelli Pzero Rosso and Bridgestone Potenza RE001 Adrenalin. Any feedback or opinion will be highly appreciated
Cheers

Re: Which tyre??

Can't comment on the Pirellis but had Potenzas on my STi and hated them. Took too much warming up in the dry and were dreadful in the wet.

Now got Dunlops on and despite a sparser tread pattern they have performed significantly better in wet, dry and snow.

Re: Which tyre??

I've standart 17" STI rims at the moment and they'll carry the winter tires I still haven't decided for my summer tires, actually i got plenty of time till April but i have found the rims for them. I bought 17" OZ Alleggerita gold rims. Could i have some comments for it?

Re: Which tyre??

Hi all,

Very timely thread as I will be needing 4 new tyres in a few weeks for the MOT. I have a year 2000 classic UK Turbo Wagon and the tyres are pretty shocking - I have Eagle F1s which I thought were supposed to be the mutts nuts but in the recent snow/ice etc oversteered all over the shop and in the general damp it understeers! Mind you, better then the Wanli ditchfinders on my old golf!

Any tyre suggestions or comments welcome!

Most tyres will have problems on snow.

The Eagle are an excellent tyre, but any tyre will not work to its full potential if the alignment is not spot on.

Re: Which tyre??

I have been running falken fk452's on my current sti and my old wrx and they are a good all rounder. I don't feel the need to try anything else.
