gearbox mating and engine transplant

Hey guys does anybody know if anything other than subaru gearboxes bolt onto a 2005 impreza wrx

gearbox hunting

Ive rolled my 05 wrx and the engine is still fine but im trying to transplant the engine into a rwd platform car

You can make adapter plates for it to fit many things.

Gearbox hunting

Yeh thats true i was jus trying to see if i could make it rear wheel drive i heard subaru are making a rwd d1 car i wonder what they are using ?

This is the tranny spec of one RWD Impreza:

ORC Clutch
Hollinger Sequential 6-speed Transmission
CUSCO LSD
GT-R rear differential, one off driveshaft

No it isn't online anywhere (I hope). It is exclusive to Scooby Magazine and that's why you've only got a snippet
