performance not great

Hi everyone, ineed some help and advice, i have just purchased my 5th scooby she is a wagon 1995, i am dissapointed with the performance, i own a uk version 1998 shes quick as hell, the new 1 is running bigger injectors, td05 turbo, 3 inch pipe from the turbo back, intake, uprated fuel pump and regulator, remapped ecu, front mounted intercooler short ratio box and diff and a manual boost controller, and she isnt as quick as my 1998, turbo cuts in at 2000, nice and early but doesnt seem to pull like it should with the ratio box. any ideas as to what could be wrong? its an ej20

Re: performance not great

Does she boost properly?

And as far as I know a manual boost controller is not recommended on these cars.

Re: performance not great

Do you mean the car has an ESL fitted?

Or does it have a performance chip? If its fitted with a chip, ditch the bigger injectors and the FMIC as it wont be set up to run properly.

If its got an ESL, then like the guy above says, take it for a RR session.
