Re: cambelt help!!!!!!

Depends on the damage it's done. Without stripping it down and having a look there's no way of knowing if it's worth rebuilding

wheres the damage? i have a scooby with front end i got in for the engine and it turned out the bottom end of the engine was blown so explains why it was smashed lol couldnt start it in car to check due to damage panels up against the engine just took the chance and hoped for the best!but i have to say it not looking good for yours after my experience..but worth checking out you never know!so you bought it not running then?id get some one to set it up and do like i said to see as you maybe very lucky but its a long shot with what you say etc what scooby is it?

and half the cars there just have dead batteries so when i got back i took battery off my car to check and still didnt start some1 on other forum suggested coil pack but noticed the cam when i was checking that.

Re: cambelt help!!!!!!

if the belt has only jumped a few teeth on the top and bottom pulleys,it can easily be sorted,it should still start n run,a P1 i've just finished sorting had the same issue...
