hawkeye with a hatch face

was just mooching about the net and came across this...

i always loved the new hatch front but thought the rest let it down.
looks great on the newage body. (not including all those fast and furious bits though of course)

Re: hawkeye with a hatch face

Quite like the look of that, apart from the rear spoiler

Re: hawkeye with a hatch face

i do like the 2011 version..... the only thing is that positioning of the number plate. in japan or usa its not a problem, but with our big massive ugly spastic plates.....ergh. shouldve kept it neat and stuck the plate down the bottom.

had a look round for more hatch-front conversions but seems thats the only one.
spoiler and lower bumper are the let downs.

Re: hawkeye with a hatch face

not sure it'd be too easy. new age front on another newage i could see being quite easy. seen some bugeyes having it done. that TAKATA car in the yanky time attack has.

not found any other cars with the same thing done. thats in japan from the look of it.

Re: hawkeye with a hatch face

I'd rather keep the hawkeye looks.

I've seen the 2011 version at the Richard Burns Memorial, looks a lot better in the metal.

Re: hawkeye with a hatch face

my own plan is to keep mine as near standard looking as possible (minus a few pretty-ups) and still be plodding round in a 'classic newage' in 2020

Re: hawkeye with a hatch face

As above really, I love the look of the front but that rear spoiler is a dog. This might catch on and we'll end up seeing a few more about

Re: hawkeye with a hatch face

This is still the best looking Subaru front end one day maybe, one day that will be looking back at me on the driveway even some of us Impreza owners are still dreamers

Re: hawkeye with a hatch face

The blob eye has the best front end - we may all be a bit biased to our own scoobs!!
