Been with Tesco's for a number of years now. Don't know where they get the quotes from my P1 basicly the same car with goodies removed was 780. I was surprised when the first quote for the Type R came in at 480.

I think Tesco won't insure new customers without a tracker, Im sure the website would'nt let me get insurence without selecting a tracker.....

I had also been with tesco's for a few years but this year when I looked for insurance, they wherent the cheapest.

I would try Adrain Flux as I have heard some pretty good things from them before.

They'll insure almost anything. However, it will be at a premium.

Bob - your quote is good anyway.

Other insurers (in no particular order of preference or value for money)

Keith Michaels
A-Plan
Tett Hamilton
Subaru Insured (UK only)
Liverpool Victoria - sometimes do mods and imports (depends who you speak to)
