Installing High Level Brake Light
Hi i have a mark 1 imported WRX.
This car has a light level spoiler and brake light already on the car, but the brake light doesnt work? I have looked and wiring goes into the boot and them runs along the underside of the parcel shelf area then vanishes. Suprisingly there is a wire that is the same colour which goes into the rear left cluster, so i thought it would be a nice easy fix but still cannot get the high level brake light to work whilst the other brake lights are on? Is there a seperate relay for the hlbl? Can i run a wire directly from the hlbl to the rear cluster with an earth? If so what colour should i wire into? Help greatly appreciated. Regards Gareth |

Re: Installing High Level Brake Light
Should be simple to check, one wire to earth and the other to the brake light. If the high level light works it will glow. Try running a new wire just in case there is a break in the original cable.
