Re: alloy wheel weight with tyre??

the sti alloys arent as heavy as youd think in comparison to a lot of after market wheels, I have a set of sparco alloys off my old classic and they weight nothing,

I have had to laugh at these folks fitting say 8 pot front brakes with 335/356mm discs, they all go on about performance then add a extra 2.7kg to each wheel and as mention you have to the rotate that so its actually slowed the cars acceleration down,

True fella a friend of mine had a set of wolfrace alloys on his car before and they weighted 19-20kg each if I remember right
