The crankshaft sensor is usually the cause but if you have replaced it could be a faulty fuel pump maybe? Weak battery? fuel filter? Try the basic stuff first. Are you getting spark, fuel and air into the cylinder. Could be something as simple as a loose coil pack or a knackered fuel filter. How does the car run once its going after the difficult start?

Hi, mine does the same sometimes. Mine wont start at all, If I put the ignition on and off it is fine. Happens about once a fortnight, dont know if it is the same as yours. Just had a service and dyno, has not happened yet, but it has only been a couple of days after this.

Hi, i had this problem when i got my car thought it was the cold weather etc replaced the spark pugs to the best i could get and it hasn't happened since to be honest.

Now the weather is warmer it sometimes sounds a bit sluggish and revs bit lumpy.

It could be the gaps on the spark plugs of there not spot on you will get this problem.

Hopefully it's nothing too serious. Sorry i can't be more help
