Wave or not to Wave dilemma

I'm originally from a motorcycle fraternity were nodding acknowledgement is common place and was told by several people that scoobers did the same which I think is really great....but, in the last 2 months out of about 10 scoobs that I've seen only 2 have waved back
we're not talking about a mental wave and grin, flashing lights etc... just a hand up and smile

Should I continue to wave even tho I dont get one back or just do as they do to me or not wave untill they wave at me and miss waving at them coz I maybe going a lickle to fast?

trivial I know but it's starting to bug me now

Wave damn it wave. Wave like youve never waved before.
The only problem is if there are other people in your car - they may think your a bit of a sad case. My mrs thinks im a complete nerd.

Every scoob owner ive waved at has waved back!!

A P1 flashed me the other day, my humble 96 wrx. I was strangely honoured. Now THATS SAD!!!

Yep I always wave and sometimes give a flash of lights too

However

over the last couple of months I would say only 1 in 4 of the Scoob owners return the compliment
