4pots on rear?

Is it possible to fit 4pot calipers to the rears? I have 4 pots at the front and two pots at the rear, Ive ordered some disks and pads all round from Godspeed, and thought why not stick 4 pots at the rear aswell,

Is there any point in doing so? Will braking be better or will it make the car unstable during hard breaking?

Thanks

Re: 4pots on rear?

No point mate, as Brett said to me the other day "all the work is done up front". Get your pads in and change the hoses for some braided hoses (£60 for a set). Then get some DOT 4 liquid in there !!!!

Re: 4pots on rear?

no point as Matt has already said, unless your running huge power and intend to Track/Rally it,Braided lines are a good way of improving the feel of the brakes

if you want some idea of bigger calipers etc for the car, here's some info :-
rears:- KSport

front's :- KSport

Stick to 4, not 5

Re: 4pots on rear?

This is good stuff ATE Super Blue Racing Brake Fluid
DOT4 and it's blue so you can see when the old stuff is flushed out.
Done mine last week...easy.

Re: 4pots on rear?

Thanks mate

Did you use one those brake bleeding kits? Would you know if this stuff is ok to use as clutch fluid aswell?

And the hoses, are they replacements or just covers?

Thanks again
