Is the turbo supposed to be silent?
The reason I ask, is this is my first scooby, and when the turbo starts to come on boost i hear a whoosh, the car is totally standard(my00 uk), and as there is no induction kit or panel filter i wasnt expecting to hear anything.
Or it could be as my confidence increases in the car and im starting to relax driving it, I could just be noticing things i didnt before/ |

Re: Is the turbo supposed to be silent?
As above really, if your car is standard then you will hear it spinning up and a slight whistle but thats about it.
