HELP HELP GOD I NEED HELP

so yesterday got the car taxed and insured
been of the road for approx a month got in went for a drive the car is running really bad
it really struggles at low revs hesitating through accleration alomost like the fuel is being cut, when doing a three point turn the car almost cuts out
but no probs on boost
also the car is really hot but the water temp sensor reads fine the inlet manifold was almost scalding also the fuel lines felt warm
let the car cool down it took ages, had another shot tonight
not so hot tonight but the alloy header tank is very very hot
still have the stutter accleration and low rev probs
Now its already had a new maf, lambda, walbro fuel pump, new fuel hoses, loads of care and attention
cant find a air leak had a couple of breather hoses off and none looked clogged.
had any body got any ideas before my car blows up

Alrite fella when were the fuel lines fitted any restrictons in them? what are the plugs like, and coilpacks might just need a good service when was the last time you serviced it?

Re: HELP HELP GOD I NEED HELP

thats the thing its had new leads and a coil pack, also new sparks about 1000 miles ago it also had a oil change and coolent change.
its been totally gutted but not as much as me and my wallet
the fuel lines replaced are only the ones inside the engine bay running from the filter which is also newish
really struggleing with this one, the car was def running rich
there been a shortage of super recently so only normal fuel but this problem has been there for ages but is now getting worse
hoepfully after tuesday the comp will shine a light on this
cheers for the reply

Re: HELP HELP GOD I NEED HELP

You could clean the IACV and see could be that also was the maf sensor genuine subaru part? could try that aswell to clean it but clean them one at a time so you can find the problem easier to that part

Re: HELP HELP GOD I NEED HELP

already done the valve and tried it no change
and the maf was a genuinr subaru aswell
i was out in a mates the other night and his was so fast oulling all the time really pushing me back in the seat
mine just isnt like that it takes time to accelerate and then the turbo kicks in
im wondering if its the map sensor thats faulty for the low rev range
can you clean that in a 99 turbo

Re: HELP HELP GOD I NEED HELP

so got the car back today and weep weep its not simple
there is fault in the ecu
when the car is underload the car is to go to +5 but she only hits +3 and then drops to -1 and then back again
this intermittent but is what my fault is
second the trubo is only hittin .8 bar boost and then the ecu is cutting its fuel
extreme sadness
so options are ecu to the ecu doctor for repair and rebuild about 150 and a manuel boost valve set at 1 bar ish again 100 quid
the guy that owns the garage has done tonnes of these and had all the equipment to get it right
he can also remap the car but in his experience the valve would be better and give me the best return
he did comment how clean and sound mine was and it was a shame that the ecu has this glitch
what ye think lads
