05 sti ppp

Hi,

I'm seeing this car this week.

2005 05 SUBARU IMPREZA 2.0 STI PPP (305 BHP)

Would anybody be concerned about the 6 owners it's had??

And is it over priced???

The few 2005 sti's ppp that I've seen advertised with about the 35k on the clock seem to be priced more or less around the 12995 mark....

Cheers
Gary

If the link doesn't work it can be seen on www.quenbys.com

SUBARU IMPREZA 2.0 WRX PPP 4 Door 2005

This one is 7985 with 40k on the clock I'm also seeing this one this week.

I am getting close to buying one but still not rushing into it...

The silver wrx above I could do a straight swap for my A3. And is only 5 mins away from me..

A wrx with ppp supposed to give it 261 bhp..so I've read...Don't know wether to go for this one so I'll have a few grand for upgrades as well

As above, hold out for the STi. Far better car all round.

Re: 05 sti ppp

I'm trying my best to hold out for an sti but i'm so itching to buy something....What I was thinking with the 05 silver wrx ppp was start modding how I want to and probably a good base car to mod on, also with the silver wrx is that i can do a swap with my A3 and probably some money back as well....But now I've just seen this one.....

JDM Subaru Impreza STI Spec C Limited at Litchfield...but that like a balls out car isn't it....

Not back in the uk until friday so all I can do is research and then go see them next wk...

Re: 05 sti ppp

This one?

Litchfield

Looks a great car and would love one of these myself . They are awesome cars by all accounts. Will be a bit hardcore though, and as you will be doing some miles in it iirc then may not be the car for you. Grin factor will be off the scale though.

WRX PPP would be OK and plenty quick but I still say go for the STi. More power than the PP out of the box for a start (I believe, not sure what UK STi's put out tbh). To Mod the PPP would still require a re-map so would be better to start with a cheaper WRX as a base to start off with imo.

Said it before but don't rush in, wait for the right one and you will be so glad you did. Still stand by my recommendation of a UK STi, Hawkeye if your budget will stretch to it though the JDM is the better (more hardcore though) car in all respects and doesn't have the 2.5l lump.

Re: 05 sti ppp

They're both nice from litchfield.....But all I was thinking about the 05 wrx ppp is that I could straight swap it for my A3 and have a bit of money back as well...so nothing spent

Re: 05 sti ppp

you will regret it in a month or 2 when you have got used to and want to start modding,
I understand you think it looks almost the same but it isnt really, little things are better/stronger etc

Re: 05 sti ppp

I really like that 05 wrx ppp...

Also in the garage they have this.... 2007 sti for 12995 in Blue. I do like this one but I'd have to give minium 4k plus my A3 for it....

Where as the 05 wrx ppp is a swap..
