labour costs

how many hours labour should i expect to be charged for a cam belt swap from a reputable subaru specialist?

Had mine done a few months back, think it was around 3hrs :shock:

I do believe the book say 1 and 3/4 hours ?? Scoobynut did mine and it took us more like 2 hours

Cam belt is a relativly long job by all accounts... :cry: whats the miles on the scoob now sealion127?

took the car in today for the cam belt ....45,000 miles on the clock .
1 hour fifhteen minutes it took them, they did it while i waited.

jap innovations in oldham do all the work on my car now its out of warranty 190

oh...and it passed its first m.o.t as well ......chuffed is an understatement!!!

Out of town Subaru dealer charged me 204 for cambelt change. Took them 2 hours...
