replacement dampers

Hi all,

I've known for a while now that the front dampers on my 2006 STi are needing replaced. they have now got worse and i can hear squeaky crunching noises when i go over potholes/bumps now!

What are the best dampers to go for, and where can I get them online?
I don't want coilovers. I currently have the standard oem struts with prodrive springs - I've been told there are issues with the oem dampers on my model, and i'm struggling to find any good afermarked struts.

thanks,
David

Re: replacement dampers

KYB AGX imo for price and that little bit of control,
I ran these shocks with Eibach springs(prodrive are the same springs) and it was very very nice and went round Donnington with no issues on road tyres.
