Lumpy when cold

Have always noticed in the car when its really cold weather and on first start up in morning, first 10mins car has a slight hesitation never rev it over 3000rpm when cold but it goes away when car fully warmed up and barely noticable then, if a nice fine sunny day and on first start up its not harly noticable at all only seems to be cold weather, really weird are the engines normally like this when cold any one have this problem?

Re: Lumpy when cold

found both my imprezas to be very lumpy and hesitant when cold. They are notorious for it. I find a good 20/30 minute run is needed to completely get the car properly smooth running. This smoothness of course is most noticeable after a remap

2500rpm max if possible for first 5/10mins is probably wise just to help oils loosen up if nothing else, but i bet there are other reasons too

Mines the same. After 10-15 mins it goes away.
