Is this a Spec C sti ?????

Hi Guys,

Finally got my insurance money through....

Now actively looking for an Impreza but want something different...
I like;------

P1's but would only get one that's had a recent engine rebuild...
WR1's

And was looking at this Sti spec C. But not sure if it is one...
The reason why I say this, is because when I put the reg no in the gocompare website for my ins quotes it comes up as an Sti type UK. In the advert it says it's an import,,????????????.How can I check if it is one..Don't want to travel 200 miles in case it's not what it says it is..

Cheers
Gary

Looking at the brochure now and that looks like a spec C to me. Has the roof vent, the correct rear spoiler and the correct interior.

Of the cars you mention above, the Spec C is hands down the best of the bunch. Great cars.

Also, if you can get the VIN I can check it on Subaru's FAST II software and let you know what it is for sure.

Just notieced it is at Keighleys. They don't have the best reputation, so make sure you check it over thoroughly. Worth a look though as it may be a good 'un and it's on good mileage.

keighly trade center are a complete bunch of con men, they sell absolute lemons and then when they go wrong fob you off and do nothing. they have a reputation thats as bad as any out there, selling cars as the wrong things so i'd not be suprise if its a wrx mod'd to look like a sepc C. i wouldn;t even bother getting the vin number ffrom them myself

stay well well clear.

2005 SUBARU Impreza 2.0 WRX STi

I'm seeing this on Friday..I know it's priced a bit high but I bought my A3 3.2 from him in 2008...not one thing has gone wrong with it at all...

It looks a tidy one

Re: Is this a Spec C sti ?????

Tbh for 13,000 you could get a nice Spec C from a reputable seller if you shop around. Will be a better, rawer car and a lot rarer than a UK STi, even with PPP.

Take a look at this;

Litchfield

Tell me your not tempted by that, and from a very reputable seller.

Re: Is this a Spec C sti ?????

That's nice but I need to find a dealer so i can px my car...

Plus what I also need in a impreza is something that will do me good on my overseas driving holidays as well that i do every summer. Would a spec c be good for this or just a normal wrx or sti??????

Were talking normally 3000 miles round trip in 3 weeks...
