99 Type R value

Hi everyone I am after a bit of help

Bloke I know has got a 99my Type R he is wanting to sell (mad i know)

90,000 k on the clock and needs a good service and f/n/s wing is dented in and side light gone. Its blue with full WRC decals in fair condition apart from the recent damage to the wing

What would be a reasonable price any ideas ????

Difficult to say as it doesn't sound like the best looked after example.

See what Type R's have been commanding recently and revise that down to take into account mileage, the work that needs doing and the fact that it isn't a prime example.

Ive got a mate with mint RB5 for just under 5k & hes says its hard to get people to part with their cash still at the moment & not a good time to sell

True Ian I be looking at the local papers ads section and the amount of cars that people are trying to sell their cars, some cars on it that Iam keeping an eye on are on it since last October they still on paper now so lot of people just holding onto their cars and looking after what they have instead of changing to a new or upgrade their car, when I call round to garage that I tip away at somtimes its always busy with people just spending money to service their cars and if you ask them would you sell it normally answer is no I dont have the money I'll be hanging onto it for awhile good for garage for money wise, people seem to be slow to hand over cash to upgrade as they prob just dont have the money

Thanks for all the advice guys am looking in the classified's etc and will let him know i would like it but strapped for cash and misses would not approve just about managed to get my classic wrx, said it was a family car 4 door's five seats lol
